Return & Refund Policy

1. Plan Order Cancellations

Order cancellations for physical house plans that have not yet been moved to “Final Production” are allowed.

Cancellation requests must be submitted within two hours of your purchase. If you do this, and the order has not yet been moved to “Final Production,” we can cancel your order.

To request a cancellation, please contact us immediately by calling 877-895-5299.

Order cancellations cannot be made for digital house plan orders. At the time a download link has been issued, the order is considered "consumed" and cannot be canceled.

2. Returns: Incorrect, Defective or Damaged Products

Direct From The Designers accepts returns for incorrect, defective or damaged physical products. You have 30 days after the date of your purchase in which to request that return. Returns are only accepted for products that are in their original, unused, and unmarked condition. We do not accept returns of products that are in used condition.

Inspect your order immediately after receiving it, and if you see a problem and need to request a refund, please contact us in writing via customersupport@DFDHousePlans.com.

1) Return products in their original, unused, and unmarked condition.

2) Email the tracking number immediately after shipping your returned products to customersupport@DFDHousePlans.com.

3) As soon as the package is received and inspected, you’ll receive a credit in one business day towards a new plan purchase.

Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Refunds or returns are not available for digital products once the download link has been delivered. Because of the intellectual property nature of architectural designs, all sales of Standardized Digital Files (PDF and CAD Master Files) are final.

3. Customer Remorse Returns

Returns are accepted for customer remorse for physical products. Customers have 30 days after the date of your purchase to request this return. We only accept returns of products that are in their original, unused, and unmarked condition. We do not accept returns of products that are in used condition.

Immediately after receiving your order, inspect your products. If you see a problem and need to request a refund, please contact us in writing at customersupport@DFDHousePlans.com.

1) Contact us via customersupport@DFDHousePlans.com to explain your customer remorse details.

2) After your return is approved, ship and return your products in their original, unused, and unmarked condition.

3) Immediately after shipping your returned products, email the tracking number to customersupport@DFDHousePlans.com.

4) After the package is received and inspected, you’ll receive a full refund to the original payment method within 3 - 7 business days.

Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Offers are not available for refunds or returns on digital products once the download link has been delivered. Because of the intellectual property nature of architectural designs, all sales of Standardized Digital Files (PDF and CAD Master Files) are final.

4. Credit & Refund Processing

Credit will be available towards the purchase of a different plan. The credit will be for the full amount of the cost of the product or products you returned. We will make that credit available to you within one business day after we have received your return, inspected it, and confirmed that the product or products are in new condition.

Any refunds that are issued will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Refunds are not available for any shipping costs.

5. Exchanges

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can exchange your first house plan order for a credit towards another house plan purchase.

CAD and PDF files, Study/Review Sets, PDF Bid Sets, and modified house plans are not exchangeable.

To request an exchange, please submit the following within 30 days of the date you placed your order:

1) Contact us via customersupport@DFDHousePlans.com.

2) After your exchange is approved, ship the product back to us in its original, unused, and unmarked condition. You (the customer) are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

3) Immediately after shipping your returned products, email the tracking number to customersupport@DFDHousePlans.com.

4) After the package is received and inspected, you’ll receive a credit for the amount you paid for the products you are exchanging that you may then apply to purchasing a different product.

We must receive the product you wish to exchange within 30 days of the date of your purchase.

Returned blueprints that look used, redlined, or copied are not exchangeable.

We offer exchanges for the first house plan only that you purchase. We cannot offer subsequent exchanges.
