Elevations -
Exterior materials labels, plate heights, and roof slopes.

Foundation Plan -
Stem wall and footing sizes and locations, hold down specs and locations, floor framing, and notes.

Dimensioned Floor Plans -
Layout dimensions, notes, shear wall locations, and specs.

Framing Details -
Typical and special structural details, sometimes including framing elevations for specific walls.

Roof Plan -
Roof and upper floor framing plans with beam sizes, floor framing specs, and detail callouts.

Cross Section -
Typically 5 to 7 sections with plate heights, roof slopes, framing, beam callouts, and detail callouts.

Electrical Layout -
Some plans have a lighting plan with lighting and switch locations. Not all do, so please verify.

Window and Door Schedule -
Some older plans have window sizes called out at window/door locations on the plan and not in a schedule. Please verify.

IRC Details - In most cases the code-related notes, details, and specifications will be compliant to the current IRC code. In cases where the IRC code information is not yet updated, contact the designer for further guidance; an update to the latest code information is often a simple matter. Structurally, parts of the design are prescriptively designed.
